Heather recently joined the Therapy One team after
graduating from the University of Tennessee Health with her Doctorate of
Physical Therapy in May 2013. She earned a Bachelors of Business Administration
in 2010 from Middle Tennessee State University.
While earning her doctorate Heather received two awards. The
Sigma Xi award was given to her and her research colleagues for their work with
children with hemophilia. Her second award, Margaret Perry “Stacks” Ayers
award, was awarded to her by the faculty for her hard work and fellowship in
the clinic setting as well as in the classroom.
As a doctor of physical therapy she believes in hands on and
personalized care. Her main areas of interest are pediatrics, wound care, and
orthopedics. In the near future Heather will be pursuing certifications in
manual therapy techniques so that she can give the best possible treatments to
her patients.
Heather is an avid runner, and enjoys going to the beach,
and traveling.
Heather is excited to
join the team and cannot wait to help the patients she is blessed to meet.
